Hello!
We are inviting individuals who identify as having ADHD - whether formally diagnosed or self-suspected - to take part in a short online psychology study on attention and time perception.
This research is part of an MSc Psychology dissertation at Goldsmiths, University of London, and investigates how symptoms associated with ADHD relate to Mental Time Travel (MTT) - our ability to mentally project ourselves into the past or future.
What Does Participation Involve?
A brief consent form and demographic survey (approx. 2 minutes)
A series of short tasks and questionnaires (approx. 30 minutes in total), including:
A questionnaire assessing ADHD symptoms
A Mental Time Travel task, where you estimate the likelihood of life events occurring for individuals shown at different perceived ages
A time estimation task
A go/no-go task measuring response inhibition
